MODEL J LABS / BUILDING TOOLS / OCTOBER 2026

Powerful tools should invite you in.

Visual workflows, accessible experiments, and the right to understand what your tools are doing.

Start with the person

A powerful system can still be difficult to approach. We want the first useful action in our tools to be visible: connect a layer, shape a terrain, inspect a result, change a parameter. The interface should help a person discover a capability before asking them to memorize a workflow.

Make structure visible

Axon Studio makes the structure of a model inspectable. Aether explores how a world, its geometry, and its behavior can share a creative workspace. These are different domains with a common challenge: make dependencies and consequences legible without turning the interface into a textbook.

A browser is an invitation

Our open lab gives visitors small, immediate experiments. The full product workspaces take that idea further. Browser access creates a low-friction beginning; native applications can later offer deeper integration and demanding workflows. We will distinguish what each version actually supports.

Access needs a sustainable model

The planned free tier keeps exploration available. Paid membership supports native software and advanced features. A Forever License is intended to cover future premium software releases; metered cloud resources remain separate because infrastructure has an ongoing cost. Clear boundaries make that promise easier to understand and sustain.

Replace a workflow by earning trust

People change tools when an alternative helps them do better work. That takes dependable exports, understandable behavior, useful documentation, and room to grow. Our ambition is broad. The way we pursue it is concrete: one capability that works, followed by the next.
